Library at KAFCOL offers over 20,000 books (text and references), and many journals, video, CDs and DVDs. All students and staff can borrow and use the facilities. Services and facilities are available throughout the year and a friendly team of staff is always available to assist. A study room with high-speed Wifi internet is available for individual and group studies. The students are encouraged to download and use resource materials that are freely available online. The resources also provided in digital format. Book Collection Library| provides students with variety of books reflecting the research and teaching interests of KAFCOL. These include graduate textbooks, handbooks, and other books of general interest. New acquisitions are regularly added to the collection as per requests of Faculties and students. Periodicals Collection The collection includes current periodical subscriptions to professional and technical journals such as Banko Jankari, Forest and Livelihood, Hamro Ban Sampada, Tropical Forest update etc. Library has subscription to both local and foreign publications. Theses Collection The Library’s Theses Collection includes Research Reports submitted by KAFCOL’s graduates belonging to Bachelor of Science in Forestry (B.Sc Forestry) and Master of Science in Geographical Information Science and System (M.Sc GIScience). Reports Collection The Collection includes wide range of case studies, research reports, policy briefs, proceeding and others published by national and international, governmental and non-governmental organizations. Audio Visual Collection The Collection contains CD and DVD for training programs published by various organizations in video form. Rules and Regulations of Library Library will be opened from 7:00 to 16:00 hours during working days. Students are allowed to borrow 3 books for 1 week. Students will be fined for damaging and misplacing the borrowed books. Students are requested to maintain silence in and outside the library room. No bags are allowed inside the computer lab.
