 B.Sc. Forestry (TU affiliated)

 Admission Policy and procedure: 

The college takes intake of a maximum of 40 students per year. These students are selected from merit list of students who have passed an entrance examination administered by the Institute of Forestry, TU.

Entrance requirements:

Only students who have passed I. Sc. Forestry or Proficiency Certificate Level in general science of 10+2 (Science) examinations with minimum aggregate score of 45% from institutions recognized by the Tribhuvan University are eligible to sit in  the entrance examination. 

Application forms:

An application form for entrance examination are available at the institute of Forestry (IOF) Pokhara, IOF Hetauda, IOF Contact office Kirtipur, Kathmandu and Kathamandu Forestry College (KAFCOL) Koteshwor.   Application deadline is Muksir 15, 2066 (Nov 30, 2009).

Entrance test:

All applicants need to appear in the entrance exam to be held in Pokhara, Hetuda and Kathmandu. Those who pass the entrance exam can enroll the course at KAFCOL.

Admission:

Annual enrolment of students from the science and forestry background is expected to be equal (50% each) but may change based on number of suitable candidates applying from each background. The course is open for both Nepalese and foreign students.

Diploma in Forestry (CTEVT affiliated)

Admission Policy and procedure: 

The college enrolls a maximum of 40 students per year. These students are selected from merit list of students who have passed an entrance examination administered by CTEVT. The application deadline Bhadra 4, 2067 (Aug 20, 2010).

Entrance requirements:

Only students who have passed SLC examination with minimum aggregate score of 45% [second division] are eligible to sit in the entrance examination .

Entrance test:

All applicants should appear in the entrance exam to be held in Kathmandu on Bhadra 11 (Aug 27, 2010) for Scholarship and Bhadra 12 (Aug 28.2010) for full payment. 

Admission:

The students who successfully  pass the entrance exam are eligible for admission to this program.
