Our facilities are designed to provide our students valuable practical resources and real working environments.
The college has two buildings of its own constructed in an area of one ropani at Amarawatimarg, koteshwor. One building is three-storey and the other is four storey. The ground floor of the two storey building is specially designed for indoor games like carom, chess, tennis etc. The buildings are well-ventilated and well furnished having echo-free class rooms with comfortable sitting arrangements. KAFCOL has constructed one new building in the rented land next to its premises and other two building are planned to be constructed in other rented land infront of the main college building.
Library provides students with a comprehensive range of resources and equipments including textbooks, reference books, lecture notes, daily newspapers, magazines, newsletters, journals (including e journals), and other relevant publications. Library offers over 20,000 books (text and references), journals, video, CDs, DVDs. All students and staff can borrow and use the facilities. Services and facilities are available throughout the year and friendly team of staff is always at hand to assist. To enhance student’s access to the library further resources, college has a plan to upgrade its capacity electronically so that student can search for the intended books, journals etc. through the computer. Our objective is to enhance student’s knowledge base by offering chances to study a wide range of educational materials at library.
A number of computers are available for student use in the college. On-line resources can be accessed from any computers through wireless internet. Students have twenty-four hour broad-band access to the internet.
Research /Practical exposure sites
KAFCOL has its own research sites in kavrepalanchowk, Dhading, Chitwan, Rasuwa and Dhanusa districts. These will be primary sites of the field based learning for the students. The college also has two field resource centers for field practice at majhitar of dhading district and Matatirtha VDC of Kathmandu district.
Counseling and Consultation
KAFCOL has 48 well qualified and experienced full and part time faculty members with 11 administrative staffs. Both Management Committee and Teaching Faculties are available at any official time as per need of the students. Student’s problem are solved through persuasion of the related degree and addressed timely. Two faculties are deputed at information and counseling section from 8 am to 4:30 pm.
